These congregations and their churches are Uniting Churches in the Ballarat area which co-operatively and independently mission and minister to the people of the Ballarat area and beyond. Situated on the Western Freeway 1 hour West of Melbourne with a population of over 110,0000 people, all these congregations meet regularly for worship and other activities on Sunday and other days of the week. These co-operating Ballarat congregations are part of the North East Region of Presbytery of Western Victoria, a large presbytery stretching from the border in the west to Ballarat in the east, part of the VicTas Synod.
